Hargrove Engineering, LLC has the goal of providing broad-scope technical and management services, integrated systems and systems support to government agencies, industry and community development organizations.

Hargrove Engineering L.L.C. has proposed a master solution for the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) which addresses sewer operations on a global scale (see enclosure).

The South Fairmount Community Council, representing the South Fairmount community, has entered into a joint Ohio based Private Public Partnership with Hargrove Engineering.

Hargrove Engineering is implementing with the South Fairmount Community Council a community plan which includes the businesses in South Fairmount, current and future .

Hargrove Engineering, LLC (Hargrove) and or its assigns is in agreement with and implementing, with the South Fairmount Community Council, a joint Private Public Partnership [P3] to address combined sewer overflows (CSO’s) and stormwater sewer overflows (SSO's) worldwide.

The Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan Sewer District’s (MSD’s) planned storm/sanitary separation named Project Groundwork would forever change South Fairmount as it is today.

The Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan Sewer District is under a to be filed finial Federal Consent Decree (Project Groundwork) to remove the combined sewer overflows (CSO’s) and stormwater sewer overflows (SSO's).

Because the South Fairmount Community Council, representing the South Fairmount community, believes that MSD’s plan attempts to solve their goal without seriously addressing the sustainability of the community it has entered into the P3.

The aforementioned Private Public Partnership will be the voice of South Fairmount in the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan Sewer District’s (MSD’s) Project Groundwork.

The P3 is also the voice of South Fairmount in choices and decisions that will affect the future sustainability, stability, jobs and the Needs, Wants and Don’t Wants of the South Fairmount community.

The aforementioned P3 shall work on the Mill Creek and other environmental issues.

The proposed arrangement is for Cincinnati, Ohio Municipal Government to be asked to be a P3 Partner.

The P3 is interested in purchasing 200,000 units of Structural Insulated Panel Housing on a timeline based on the OC Alternative Comprehensive Plan for the city of Cincinnati.

These Housing units will be approximately 1,000 square feet per unit, and or up 3,000 sq. ft. and are to be manufactured, delivered and built in South Fairmount.

The P3 agrees to pay all related delivery costs, including but not limited to all taxes, customs expenses, shipping, transportation expenses and any other related costs, to be shipped Freight On Board to shipping point located in South Fairmount.

Further, all parties (Purchaser and Seller) acknowledge this Letter Of Intent to Purchase as a binding Purchase and Sale agreement and will be completed upon the construction and completion of the Structural Insulated Panel Manufacturing Facility in the South Fairmount section of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The P3 will provide the land in order for the construction and completion of the Headquarters for the Structural Insulated Panel Manufacturing Facility in a free trade subzone.

We, Hargrove Engineering LLC, as agents for the P3 look forward to the subsequent meeting and inspection of the property and confirmation of a binding final contract.

Africa Day is the annual commemoration on May 25 of the 1963 founding of the Organization of African Unity (OAU). On this day, leaders of 30 of the 32 independent African states signed a founding charter in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In 1991, the OAU established the African Economic Community, and in 2002 the OAU established its own successor, the African Union. However, the name and date of Africa Day has been retained as a celebration of African unity.

On this official day of the African Union, WE will establish our digital solutions that bind Ohio STEM with that of The New Partnership for Africa's Development [NEPAD]. It is an opportunity to celebrate African diversity and success, and join Africans around the world in highlighting the cultural, social and entrepreneurial energy of the continent and that of those of the African diaspora. In this case those of US in Ohio with states in Africa through the African Union.

This year we will create a financial instruments to invest in the following African ventures:

Provide Architectural Design and Environmental Services along with Professional Engineering, Construction Management and General Contracting Services that will house 80 million people by 2020.
Planned Unit Development centered around a building on such sites a full service Teaching Hospital and Orphanage supporting a K-12 School that specializes in STEM and has special support for AIDS orphans and those suffering from Post-traumatic stress disorders [PTSD's].
Water Works Construction based on joint venture with Ohio Water, a new company being proposed on 11 May 2011 by Hargrove Engineering and LDG.

Next Generation Broadband Communications Solutions that would work with the UMC in Africa through local churches that support 500 million people.
Creating a in country next generation internet service and cloud computing solutions built on Next Generation Broadband Communications Solution. Our first such solution will provide unified distance education from a American headquarters in Cincinnati and a to be selected site in Africa.
Safety Support for the above work and other Humanitarian Aid though students of our military schools around the world which by 2020 will enroll 20 million children and adults in schools aligned with the main school in Ohio.

We are proposing 300 States United for Global Change through Tax Reform led by the states United in the Americas starting in the state of Ohio in the United States of America. We will heal the open woulnds of of government finance and investment in people through OMB compliant action under the current tax code and federal law as a health care Consultant and provider partner in Ohio.

In support of health care in Ohio we will build from Cincinnati a Omnidirectional Health Interoperable Instrumentation Patent Pool. This patent pool would grant the state a license for 20 million accounts based on a Global Sudden Climate Change based cloud based health carre next generation informatics which through the patent pool be able to connect to all health care electronic instrumentation in Ohio through a HIPPA compliant public private partnership proposed by McGraw Daniels and implemented by Hargrove Engineering, LLC.

The first round will be tied to a home health care network, under current tax law, of 800,000 Ohio households. All from the 88 counties Change Alliances to provide Universal Health Care for all Ohioans in that county. One avenue is through a faith based partnership with the United Methodist Men of Keys of the Kingdom UMC and allied faith based organizations like Churches Can Change Cincinnati NOW and the 100 Male March.

Governor Strickland Announces Ohio Health Information Partnership Wins $43 Million to Develop Health Information Exchange Ohio Receives Total of $72 Million in Recovery Act Grants for Health IT, Health Care Job Training

Columbus, Ohio – Ohio Governor Ted Strickland today announced that the Ohio Health Information Partnership, the non-profit entity he designated to lead the implementation of Ohio’s health information technology efforts, competed for and won $43 million in funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act for the development and implementation of a health information exchange. Fred, Hershel and Wanda [primary team leader + members] are members of the United Methodist Church who will bring them into a demonstration as far as Hamilton County is concerned to show the church what can be done in over 10% of our 35,000 churches in the United States and 4,000 in Africa that we would connect via the Internet of today and tomorrow through being the 24th user of the Patent in a new pool established with an unlimited licensee to OHIP for the 43 million dollar grant, through the Church.

We know that the nature of health care has changed substantially since biblical times, but the importance of health care has remained the same. Consistent with the Social Principles and Book of Resolutions, the General Board of Church and Society advocates for health care as a human right that must be made available to all.

From our [Hershel + Wanda are UMC certified lay speakers] earliest days United Methodists have believed that providing health care to others is an important duty of Christians and this is our ministry. John Wesley found ways to offer medical services at no cost to the poor in London. The first Methodist Social Creed (adopted in 1908) urged working conditions to safeguard the health of workers and community.

We started in January 2007 and look to create a 10 to 1 leverage with the investors, including the federal government, who would put up 400 million dollars to our grant amount of 40 million dollars. It will take 3 million dollars to raise the money with firms as diverse as CDW to CBTS.

Through Hargrove Engineering our team is short listed. The Team mentioned in the Hargrove Engineering + Team which would leverage in application the 4.7 billion dollars in grants [75%] and loans [25%] being given away by 29 March 2010 for Broadband by the federal government. It will take the resources outlined herein to apply for this money based on my response to The Ohio Health Information Partnership (OHIP) in which my partners will spend over 43 million dollars regarding the implementation of an interoperable health information exchange (HIE) framework for the State of Ohio that will serve as one of 25 such centers serving 200M Ohioans with a workforce sat its people of 1 M people drawing on the 250 billion dollars in ARRA funds the administration still holds before July 4th 2010.

Our updated Request for Information (RFI) will addresses OHIP’s mission to advance the adoption, implementation and meaningful use of health IT among health care providers by facilitating and developing a statewide HIE to improve the safety , quality, accessibility, availability and efficiency of health care for citizens of Ohio.

As the state-designated entity for Ohio’s statewide health information exchange, OHIP is seeking a full service HIE solution that best fits its goals, objectives, strategies and vision as supported by Ohio Health Care Coverage and Quality Council (OHCCQC) and outlined in the reference documents included in this request.

We will develop a Updated Response to this RFI by March 29th 2010 tha6t will be carefully reviewed and a more detailed Request for Proposal (RFP). We are looking for feedback that will be received and incorporated through partnerships with Hargrove + Team. OHIP will send the RFP to selected, qualified respondents. As a part of the qualifying process, respondents may be asked to provide a demonstration of their proposed solutions.

Comprehensive Plan

The 2010 Cincinnati Change Comprehensive Plan will inform current and future decision makers where we are now, how we got here, where we want to go, how we intend to get there, and who we expect that will help us along the way through use of a Community Reinvestment Agreement with key stakeholders who a interest in Cincinnati and a service bureau headquarters that supports health care on a means tested basis.

The Community Reinvestment Act (or CRA, Pub.L. 95-128, title VIII, 91 Stat. 1147, 12 U.S.C. § 2901 et seq.) is a United States federal law designed to encourage commercial banks and savings associations to meet the needs of borrowers in all segments of their communities, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. GE is now covered under this law and so are many other companies as the law has changed and non banks can own banks and be members of the Federal Reserve System. They can even lend money from their bank to their Health Care Company.

Cincinnati holds a prestigious position in the history of Planning in our nation. In 1925, Cincinnati was the first city in the United States to have a comprehensive plan approved by City Council. Since that time, the Plan has been updated twice first in 1948 and in 1980.

NOW IT IS OUR TIME TO CHANGE HISTORY AGAIN !!

We have been planning black history based selling health care services and products in a means tested manner to an African American community with a trillion dollars circulating through it [ 900B in income 90 billion in business and 10 billion in non profit/religious activity]. .

The areas already agreed to by the city of Cincinnati's Planning Department through their New City of Cincinnati Comprehensive Plan [Plan Cincinnati] include the following areas [subject to change depending on the working group]:

Cincinnati 2010 Implementation

Since the late 1970’s, Cincinnati has depended on a network of 52 community councils and 34 business districts to oversee spending on neighborhood projects ranging from beautification to youth programs and zoning.

The groups have also served as neighborhoods’ voice to Cincinnati City Council and had input on a wide range of issues, some which may have otherwise fallen through the cracks.

In Cincinnati MDi will use a systems topology where public safety with these groups and in business districts that will be able to perform over-the-air updates to devices, allow for access to external and local databases and networks, have access to subscribers’ user status, and have the ability to create, modify, delete, and update user and group records, profiles and configurations. At the same time, it will have all of the advanced features of the MDi Integrated Secure Wireless Managed Services as supplied by carriers on a means tested basis. Cincinnati Change will be in charge of the deployment of the system and providing for the means testing with strategic enterprise public and private sector partners in Cincinnati with its own 11 Member Managing board of directors.

We expect to leverage state and federal grant money to create a network that will support a health care service network to 500M people worldwide by 2012 from a service bureau network in Ohio and selected foreign countries including Haiti, Brazil, Chile, Senegal, Liberia, Guinea, Zimbabwe and Nigeria.

We get on the bus on 9 March 2010 to reach Washington DC on 10 March 2010.

Statement on Bipartisan Blair House Meeting on Health Reform

Today we streamed the Historic summit. It talks about a 25 trillion in sales over next decade, Out proposal is to treat 20 million American Households and up to 29M Guests in the United States with health based on a best practice practice backed by a Methodist movement that I am implementing through the United Methodist Men of Keys of the Kingdom UMC and allies.

We will approach Congress next week with a work on a pilot in the Fiscal Year 2011 + 2012 in 300 congressional districts for 600 billion dollars over the next fiscal cycle with a 2010 Ohio led Midwest demonstration in 30 Congressional Districts including the states of Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, West Virgina, Pennsylvania and the Federal District of Columbia for 17 Billion. Part of which we expect will come from applications fro grants and loans to the 12 Billion Dollar Fiscal Year 2010 Broadband initiative of the President as well as funds like the Ohio's Third Frontier Funding.

I do this as a Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Church who also serves as President of the United Methodist Men of Keys of the Kingdom which has enabled a team of health professional allied with other brought to bear on the problem through my role as Chairman of MDi and as a Trustee of Cincinnati Change and the Webmaster and a Visionary for the National Fairness and Growth Campaign.

Chairman Rangel Statement on Bipartisan Blair House Meeting on Health Reform

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles B. Rangel issued the following remarks on the bipartisan meeting on health reform convened by President Obama today:

“I had really hoped that this summit would push us over the top. We are so close to ensuring that every American has access to high-quality, affordable care that meets their needs. We are so close to ensuring that hardworking Americans won’t have to worry about losing their health insurance if they lose their job or start a new business.

“We are so very close, yet differences remain. To sit here today and listen to my colleagues from Kentucky and Wyoming, you would think the American people don’t want health reform. I want my fellow New Yorkers to know they are represented here and their vocal support for these critical reforms has been registered.

“We entered this room with the understanding that we agree on 70 percent of what is in the health reform bill. If that is the case, I simply cannot understand the repeated calls by my Republican colleagues to scrap the bill and start anew. That type of rhetoric means you’ve made up your mind that we’re not going to have a health reform bill. And I don’t think that’s consistent with what the American people sent us to Congress to do.

“We talk a lot about process in Congress, and at the end of the day, the American people don’t care about process nearly as much as we do. I have no clue how big the Social Security bill was, or the Medicare bill, and I can assure you that someone who is sick and needs care doesn’t care how long the bill is that helps them get the care they need at a price they can afford.

“Our reform bill would make health insurance more affordable, cover more than 95 percent of Americans and strengthen Medicare’s solvency by more than nine years. I know my Republican colleagues would agree that ensuring every American has access to reliable health benefits is critical to our nation’s health and competitiveness, so I would hope we can start focusing on the areas where we agree and move forward together. Sickness doesn’t discriminate by political party, we should stop this partisan bickering and confine our public arguments toward constructive discussion.”

Now we shape a bill that can garner a majority of Congress and be signed by the President.

One Year Later

It is a new year and this in not the change I thought I would be celebrating on the first anniversary of the election of Senator Barack Obama as the 44th president of the United States of America!!

I agree that the disappointing election results in November 09 and January 10 show deep discontent with the pace and type of change that is going on. Main Street is hurting and those off Main Street are destitute; while wall street is at the feeding trough. I know that a majority of the African American community share's that frustration.

I am among those who believe any change worth making is hard and as Fredrick Douglas said power will fight you at every turn [or something like that]. The sting of this first year on the Road to Recovery has been with setbacks along the way.

Our country continues to face the same fundamental challenges it faced yesterday. Wall Street and its fellow travelers still needs to be held accountable; though not in the way that some expect. We still need to create good jobs and enlist, willingly or not, Wall Street in helping Main Street. And we still need to continue building a energy economy that is both clean and free of foreign entanglements in the Middle East.

We are not walking away from this President and we expect him not to walk away from the challenges listed below [not necessarily in the order listed].

50 years or is it 400 Years = less than 1% (ie .99%) nationally according to the US Census Bureau or less than a half of one percent (ie .4955%) in Ohio of all business revenue earned by African Americans. What has been the ramifications and implications of these shameful, tragic figures on the economic health of black communities and the country as a whole?

Now is the time for a change.

The ramifications and the implications of these shameful, tragic figures on the economic health of Black communities are staggering. This lack of economic parity has led to higher crime rates, higher rates of imprisonment, higher rates of unemployment and lower educational achievement. This downward spiral in the Black community effects the whole country.

This letter is written to inform the country of the steps that our virtual organization has taken and our plans for the future. We think that the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and its counterpart, other recovery initiatives, the general budget provides an opportunity to redress some of the systemic and personal economic equalities.

The National Fairness and Growth Campaign has created a grassroots campaign of practitioners who have a long term operational knowledge of past practices . These business people are very familiar with the philosophies, strategies, approaches, programs and projects ostensibly designed to address the history and practices of discrimination towards African Americans that levels the playing field. By extension we also address discriminatory practices towards other groups

The National Fairness and Growth Campaign will be a significant advocate for the "greening" of America especially in its vulnerable communities. The Campaign does not have negative presumptions regarding current planning or execution of the Congress or President Obama’s administration budget or initiatives. We seek to provide solutions gained from the hard earned insight into potential enforcement of existing public laws, regulations, new initiatives and programs through the use of “Best Practices” that level the playing field(s).

The National Fairness and Growth Campaign seeks not to have negative presumptions regarding the current planning or execution of the ARRA and TARP or the FY 2010 general budget. We seek to provide solutions gained from the hard earned insight into potential enforcement of existing public laws, regulations and new initiatives and programsthrough the use of “Best Practices” to Erase the Digital Divide.

In erasing the Digital divide we reject the notion that there is not available a shovel ready American next generation workforce ready to be trained. We are calling on creating a public private partnership that would oversee a possible investment of over $260,000,000,000 in a million American youth over a ten year period starting no later than December 31, 2010 is made to create a next generation workforce in 25 Urban Areas, 25 Statewide Rural Regions and 10 Native American Tribal lands.

This is a follow up to our previous symposium regarding our concerns and hopes relative to the very fast moving American Recovery and Reinvestment Plan (ARRP), now public law as of February 17th, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, and its counterpart the TARP initiatives and implementation of the FY2010 Budget.

It is our plan to develop aoer the next two weeks a development strategy that will support over a million students on connected campus around the nation. It would also connect a total of 500 million people via our global public private sector distance learning infrastructure that will Erase the Digital Divide. This includes 200 million people living in the United States and 300 million people in other countries. It is to be built a multinational shovel ready patent protected next generation third frontier digital infrastructure that supports a logistics infrastructure built around the United States Postal Service.

It will be financed in it's prototype state by a 200 million dollar underwriting according to the Principles and Findings of the National Fairness and Growth Campaign and all current federal state and local laws, including Presidential order in force as approved by the US Attorney General.

All this will be financed as a private public partnership under current federal law, agency and department funding and Presidential Orders. It will employ over 60,000 people by September 2010. It is our goal starting with Cincinnati to enroll a million people in schools and colleges by December 2010 to become part of the Change in Americas workforce.

Cincinnati's Commemoration of the Bicentennial Birthday of Abraham Lincoln continues on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, with a televised town hall meeting featuring special guest former congressman and United Nations Ambassador Andrew Young.

WCPO-TV News Anchor Clyde Gray will moderate the program. The ninety minute program -- which will also be streamed live on CETConnect -- will take place from 8:00-9:30 p.m. The program will include a panel of local respondents, including Father Michael Graham, President of Xavier University; Judge Nathaniel Jones, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit; Jan Michele Lemon-Kearney, Publisher of the Cincinnati Herald, and Maria G. Molina, Procter & Gamble's Latin American Development Director and Americas Consumer Relations Manager. Program participants also include John Pepper, community leader, historian, and former chairman and CEO of Procter & Gamble, a diverse group of area citizens and a live studio audience discussing the climate of race and politics in Cincinnati in 2009. The Father of Labor Day in Ohio

Cincinnati Change joins for the 4th year the Cleveland Chapter of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists in Commemoration of the Father of Labor Day, the Honorable John Patterson Green (1845-1940)

The Cleveland Chapter of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists which consists of members from seventy-seven international and national unions recognizes John Patterson Green’s legislative sponsorship of Labor Day in Ohio. House Bill 500 was passed on April 28, 1890 and consisted of one sentence:

“Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Ohio, that the first Monday in September of each and every year shall be known as Labor Day . . .”

In 1894, the U.S. Congress passed a bill making Labor Day a national holiday.

Patterson Green’s efforts preceded the accomplishments of organized labor leaders such as A. Philip Randolph, Sleeping Car Porters; John L. Lewis, United Mine Workers; Philip Murray, United Steel Workers; Jimmy Hoffa,Teamsters; Walter Reuther, United Auto Workers; and Cesar Chavez, United Farm Workers.

Born in New Bern, North Carolina, John Patterson Green became Cleveland’s first black lawyer and first black elected official (Justice of the Peace) and was also the second African-American elected to serve in the Ohio House of Representatives in 1882.

John P. Green's parents were African-Americans, but free. Too poor to attend school, he worked as a harness maker, a tailor, and a waiter before writing and self-publishing Miscellaneous Subjects by a Self-Educated Colored Youth when he was 21. After the book's success, he attended high school and law school, and became one of the first black elected officials north of the Mason-Dixon line when he was elected Justice of the Peace in Cleveland, in 1873. In 1881 he was elected to the Ohio House, and in 1891 he was elected to the Ohio Senate.

In addition to Miscellaneous Subjects by a Self-Educated Colored Youth (1866) he wrote Recollections of the Inhabitants, Localities, Superstitions and KuKlux Outrages of the Carolinas (1880) and Fact Stranger than Fiction (1920, autobiography)

As a legislator, he sponsored 21 bills favorable to labor issues, including House Bill 500 in 1890, which established a state holiday honoring working men and women. Labor unions had staged annual parades and picnics since 1882, but Green's bill made Labor Day an official holiday in Ohio, to be celebrated on the first Monday of September, effective in 1891. Three years later the US Congress followed suit, making Labor Day a national holiday. After leaving the State Assembly, Green worked for many years as a lawyer and postal official, and at the time of his death -- struck by a streetcar at the age of 95 -- he was the oldest attorney practicing in Ohio.

During his second elected term in 1890, the state of Ohio enacted Labor Day legislation that earned him the title “Father of Labor Day in Ohio.” The former common laborer and lawyer wanted to honor all working men and women in Ohio with the idea of establishing a holiday to celebrate the contributions of workers (not politicians).

The Honorable John Patterson Green served three successive terms in the Ohio General Assembly, including two terms in the House of Representatives (1882-1883 and 1890-1891). In 1892, he was elected to the Ohio Senate, making him the first African-American elected to a state senate north of the Mason-Dixon Line in the United States. While serving as an Ohio state legislator, John Patterson Green sponsored and supported 21 major bills on behalf of labor.

During his professional and legislative career, he counted among his closest friends Mr. & Mrs. John D. (Ms. Lara C. Spellman) Rockefeller, Marcus A. Hanna and George A. Myers—all captains of industry. He also was a friend of and assisted Civil Rights leaders, such as Harry Smith, Booker T. Washington, Frederick Douglas, Charles Chestnut, and other black leaders of his day.

Mr. Green was also befriended by and received appointments to federal positions by Presidents James A. Garfield and William McKinley. Of all his associations and accomplishments, however, the Honorable John Patterson Green was most proud of his work to honor all working men and women of this nation by initiating Labor Day.

Robert E. Saffold is a former member of Laborers Local 935 in Warren and was elected union department chairman of Local 1375 United Steelworkers of America (Republic Steel) in Warren. He is a registered lobbyist for the Ohio Minority Contractors Association and current chairman and CEO of the African-American Business and Contractors Association Inc. This material on John Patterson Green was researched at the Western Reserve Historical Society, Cleveland, Ohio by Minister Robert E. Saffold. He was project coordinator for the research and publication of this piece for the Cleveland chapter of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists.

Since its founding conference in 1972, The Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU) stature among African American workers has grown. Currently, more than 77 different international and national unions are represented in CBTU. With 50 chapters nationwide and one in Ontario, Canada, CBTU is maximizing the strength and influence of black workers in unions and empowering their communities.

It caused severe destruction along the Gulf coast from central Florida to Texas, much of it due to the storm surge. Haven't posted in a while cause I have had two, count em' two heart attacks. I have five new stents to prove it. An just yesterday I meet Robert O'neal who had had just the day before hand had a stent put in his heart, without the heart attack. Like me his heart had been blocked up. In my case 90% and 60%. We both were at the Cicninnati Empowerment Zone annual report last night.

On this day in 1865, more than two years after President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, those who found themselves still enslaved in Galveston, Texas had their hopes realized and their prayers answered. Contrary to what others had told them, the rumors they had heard were indeed true. The Civil War had ended, and they were now free.

General Gordon Granger issued the call with "General Order No. 3" saying "The people of Texas are informed that, in accordance with a proclamation from the Executive of the United States, all slaves are free. " June 19, or Juneteenth, is now observed in 31 states. Nearly a century and a half later, the descendants of slaves and slave owners can commemorate the day together and celebrate the rights and freedoms we all share in this great nation that we all love.

This moment also serves as a time for reflection and appreciation, and an opportunity for many people to trace their family’s lineage. African Americans helped to build our nation brick by brick and have contributed to her growth in every way, even when rights and liberties were denied to them. In light of the historic unanimous vote in the United States Senate this week supporting the call for an apology for slavery and segregation, the occasion carries even more significance.

I am proposing as Fred Hargrove, Sr. PE. MBA's Chief of Staff that the Global Change Health Collaborative be created as a committee of The National Fairness and Growth Campaign. by June 19th 2009 In this plan the Collaboration will assemble a alliance of health professionals, non profits and for profit enterprises dedicated to creating through The National Fairness and Growth Campaign a global health care service organization that is supportive of world class health care from a headquarters in Ohio. The Collaboration will be Chaired by Fred Hargrove, Sr. PE, MBA who is a Campaign Co-Chairman and Campaign member Cincinnati Change Treasurer and Chief Engineer.

The National Fairness and Growth Campaign knows that in most ways, the United States is the global leader in health care spending over 2 trillion dollars a year. From the best-trained doctors to the most state-of-the art medical equipment to breakthrough treatments for deadly diseases, Americans expect and often receive the best care anywhere – if they can pay. There are over 50 million people in the country without access to this system and we plan to create a system that meets their home health care needs.

Yet despite our many assets and strengths, there is significant room for improvement. Our two trillion dollar medical system depends far too much on antiquated paper files and out-of-date customs to make it work. The digital tools that have radically improved productivity and quality across our economy have barely touched health care, and it shows. In America we spend over a 100 billion a year on health care technology. Yet, we believe, in general, that health care is all too often inconvenient for patients.

While almost every sector of our economy is transforming itself through new world class computerized processes our health care sector remains characterized by islands of advanced technologies in a sea of paper. Americans spend significantly more per capita on health care than the citizens of any other country, yet we do not receive commensurately greater quality of care across the board. We know that paper-based systems contribute to medical errors that drive up costs and harm patient safety.

We’re letting down our doctors too. By keeping vital patient information out of their hands, we limit their ability to make the best medical decisions. By failing to automate prescribing and delivery systems, we subvert their intentions and confuse their instructions. By failing to collect information on quality and outcomes, we decline to provide them with the best data they could have about the results of medications and treatments, information that would help them save lives.

We plan to change that and add technologies such as direct-to-consumer connectivity, secure real-time online access to critical information and aggregation and analysis of detailed data from experts from around the world through unified communications [UC] with patented technology that does just that. Our UC cloud will pass 500 million people by 2020.

We will change, with potential partners such as The Christ Hospital and Accenture, a statewide public health information management system that too often fails our patients into one that erases the eHealth divide, first in Cincinnati from a headquarters in the Empowerment Zone, then in allied regions in southern Ohio. This will happen through what we call our Universal Health Information Network Operations Center Plan of Action.

These Universal Health Information Network Operations Plan of Action create home health care centers for 20,000 households that will use patented technology which let all electronic signals be reconciled with other electronic signals and be processed so as to deliver to the end user the eHealth care information where they need it, when they need it and on whatever electronic device they have that can use it.

It will be demonstrated in Ohio that we can change the “siloed” health care information system and bring solutions within reach of those who need it. As part of that mission of the Collaborative demonstration of the Cincinnati Change Health Collaborative will advance the availability of world class quality health services for all, including low-income, racial/ethnic minority populations and other underserved populations, in a secure, timely, efficient, responsive and coordinated system of care.

We will offer services to Tristate employers from the Cincinnati Empowerment Zone starting with Mount Auburn’s 5,619 residents and their allied families and friends in our Ohio demonstration service area.

The National Fairness and Growth Campaign Global Change Health Collaborative will work to ensure that Federal, state, local and private efforts to develop and coordinate advances in technology in the health arena include funding, programs and initiatives for underserved communities in southern Ohio.

It is our plan to develop our first cloud of world class eHealth infrastructure in Cincinnati where we will work to develop a global health care alliance. It would support a network of regional health care information service organizations in support of best practices health care outcomes.

Cincinnati Change as a member of the National Fairness and Growth Campaign believes that the people of Cincinnati along with the residents of southern Ohio along with policy makers and employers have the opportunity and obligation to address the issue head-on of the health care gap in these historic times. It is the time for bold action in a Cincinnati Change mission to erase the eHealth divide in southern Ohio. Thereby Cincinnati Change is, today July 11^th 2009, announcing the formation of The Cincinnati Change Health Collaborative demonstration.

We will contribute information technologies in support of coordinated preventive and primary care in both public and private sectors that will enhance the lives of all people in southern Ohio with a 2009 targeted service area that consists of the Cincinnati Empowerment Zone. Since 2002 the Organizers of Cincinnati Change have targeted the Cincinnati Empowerment Zone which is a region that has over 50,000 residents, 3,000 employers and 68,000 employees along with their families.

In addition from a headquarters in Mt. Auburn we shall create a demonstration in Cincinnati that is supportive of eHealth systems in southern Ohio, with partners like IBM, Blackbox,. V + V Construction Company, CDW, TESSCO, The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences and or faith based partners like the United Methodist Church, that will concentrate training African Americans in eHealth through a network connecting centers of learning and health care treatment.

These health professionals will serve both domestically, starting in southern Ohio, and as well as part of a 50 region domestic alliance of health care professionals and service organizations.

President Obama has urged Congress to act on health care legislation. His plea was for lawmakers to act now, or the opportunity will be lost: "If we don't get it done this year [2009], we're not going to get it done."

On June 6, a nationwide health care campaign will be held, and President Obama's organization, Organizing for America, has invited volunteers for a meeting to describe the effort. President Obama honored America’s fallen service members at Arlington National Cemetery this morning and said that the men and women who choose to serve their country are the “best of America.”

The president laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington and said the cemetery, which is the final resting place for soldiers dating back to the Revolutionary War, serves as a reminder of the “meaning of valor.”

“With each death, we are heartbroken; with each death, we grow more determined,” he said.

Obama sent a wreath to the African-American Civil War Memorial in Washington, D.C. He is the first president to send a wreath to this memorial that honors the 200,000 African-American soldiers who fought for the Union Army.

As a vet I believe that we are here because they stood up and where willing like others to gave their last measure.

The President returned from Camp David last night so that this morning he could have breakfast with Gold Star Families in the State Dining Room, participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery, and speak at the Memorial Amphitheater at Arlington National Cemetery:

Here lie Presidents and privates; Supreme Court justices and slaves; generals familiar to history, and unknown soldiers known only to God.

A few moments ago, I laid a wreath at their tomb to pay tribute to all who have given their lives for this country. As a nation, we have gathered here to repeat this ritual in moments of peace, when we pay our respects to the fallen and give thanks for their sacrifice. And we've gathered here in moments of war, when the somber notes of Taps echo through the trees, and fresh grief lingers in the air.

Today is one of those moments, where we pay tribute to those who forged our history, but hold closely the memory of those so recently lost. And even as we gather here this morning, all across America, people are pausing to remember, to mourn, and to pray.

Old soldiers are pulling themselves a little straighter to salute brothers lost a long time ago. Children are running their fingers over colorful ribbons that they know signify something of great consequence, even if they don't know exactly why. Mothers are re-reading final letters home and clutching photos of smiling sons or daughters, as youthful and vibrant as they always will be.

They, and we, are the legacies of an unbroken chain of proud men and women who served their country with honor; who waged war so that we might know peace; who braved hardship so that we might know opportunity; who paid the ultimate price so we might know freedom.

Those who rest in these fields fought in every American war. They overthrew an empire and gave birth to revolution. They strained to hold a young union together. They rolled back the creeping tide of tyranny, and stood post through a long twilight struggle. And they took on the terror and extremism that threatens our world's stability.

Their stories are the American story. More than seven generations of them are chronicled here at Arlington. They're etched into stone, recounted by family and friends, and silently observed by the mighty oaks that have stood over burial after burial.

My friend Col. [Ky.] Fred Hargrove Sr. PE MBA is a Cincinnati Change Trustee and serves on the Ad Hoc Steering Committee of the National Fairness and Growth Campaign and is the President of Hargrove Engineering & McGraw Daniels, LLC.

My name is Frederick Hargrove Sr. PE, MBA and I am a native Cincinnatian, born, raised and educated here. I grew up in many of the neighborhoods which have now been designated as empowerment zones.

I am the previous Chairman of Board of Cincinnati Change and currently in charge of erasing the development divide in greater Cincinnati.

Some Background: Cincinnati Change understands the Tri-state is politically fragmented and segregated by race and class. Many poor Cincinnati residents have a high degree of desperation and hopelessness along with the belief that things cannot change. Cincinnati Change was created to “change this perception” by taking action to change Cincinnati NOW on June 19th, 2000 and took its first action at the 2000 Black Family Reunion.

In 2001, the founders of Cincinnati Change submitted a request to the Cincinnati Empowerment Corporation (CEC) that they set out procedures to issue $100M (now $130M)of revenue bonds to buy a patent and develop businesses that would have employed over 8,000 people. The request was updated in 2002 and again in 2003 at meetings that were held with the Cincinnati Empowerment Zone.

In 2004, the CEC set the procedures to issue the bonds through the Cincinnati Hamilton County Port Authority. In 2005, Cincinnati Change assembled a team to meet its organizational objectives through creation of a mutual fund to fund its mission in order to Change Cincinnati NOW. On June 19th, 2005 Cincinnati Change received its charter from the State of Ohio and stands ready to change Cincinnati NOW.

Cincinnati Change is creating a limited liability company called Queen City Development Group who will become operational 1 March 2006. On Feb. 25th 2006 Cincinnati Change started to organize the community to develop approximately 15 acres " eight city blocks " of prominent waterfront property that has been pre-assembled, at one time, with the opportunity to tap into surrounding anchors that will, by 2009, generate approximately a million visitors annually to the area. Over 500,000 visits wil happen from kids in the region and foriegn exchange student visits.

Under the Cincinnati Change plan of action is where I would be chairman of a 200 member LLC with the executive board made up of the Cincinnati Change Treasurer, the Rev. Charles Britton, Dr. John Hurlimann, Col. [Ky] Wanda J Lloyd-Daniels of Churches Can Change Cincinnati NOW and a journeywoman in the IBEW, a repersentative from the United Methodist Churches Mens Conference of Cincinnati Ohio River Valley District, the 100 male March Ministries, and a representative from ELMC who will handle technology along with other appointees.

Cincinnati Change has hired three companies I have equity in Lloyd Daniels Development Group, LLC.(where I am President), Hargrove Engineering, LLC (which I own), and Education Learning Management Company LLC.(I am the managing director of this organization in formation), along with Wilson Military Academy and other partners (including a 501(c)3) to be part of the team that proposes that we create a local master developer for the riverfront who will team with global development partnership from Cincinnati.

Under my leadership I see Cincinnati Change forging alliances with the faith based community and others to encourage increased economic stability in Hamilton County. We will do that by helping to rebuild the midwest with the development of a third frontier creative class information highway infrastructure for next generation ICT built into real estate development, energy and transportation next generation grid build development.

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act's Broadband Initiative

The U.S. Congress has appropriated $4.7 billion to establish a Broadband Technology Opportunities Program for awards to eligible entities to develop and expand broadband services to rural and underserved areas and improve access to broadband by public safety agencies. Of these funds, $250 million will be available for innovative programs that encourage sustainable adoption of broadband services; at least $200 million will be available to upgrade technology and capacity at public computing centers, including community colleges and public libraries; $10 million will be a transfer to the Office of Inspector General for the purposes of BTOP audits and oversight. Up to $350 million of the BTOP funding is designated for the development and maintenance of statewide broadband inventory maps.

A way to get to fairness and capacity to solve the housing crisis.

There are many different ways to get to fairness and capacity to solve the housing crisis, as one of the first to be done, and I believe that is the key.

I am part of a team that has developed both a fair system of rescue and one that treats investors willing to mark to market with a degree of protection through a public private partnership powered by the authority contained in a OMB 76 [PDF version 63 pages] authorization with a r using SBA Standard Operating Procedure in awarding a multibillion dollar contract to a team [see previous entry] lead by a contractor team led by a current SBA 8 (a) Business Development Program Contractor through which we are developing the capacity to keep our communities running.

We will create a million American households and families in these communities who go to work part time every day, attend college, pay their mortgages and support our businesses, large and small.

If we preserve these homes and their households, we are preserving the economic engines that drive home investment in a million homes while investors and services will have income streams that will feed their net operating income.

I agree that we must stop the foreclosures because it is the right and correct thing to do.

THE WAY FORWARD: A COMMENTARY by Irvin Henderson

[current member of the Ad Hoc Steering board of the National Fairness and Growth Campaign and board member of the National Community Reinvestment Coalition and the National Trust for Historic Preservation along with serving as McGraw Daniels, Inc. {MDi} Treasurer and CFO and is President of Irvin M Henderson and Company]

It stands to reason that the best way to shore up all of our markets, credit and equity, is to ensure that the underlying assets are performing in the mortgage-backed securities that are the heart of this discussion. The purchase of the mortgages may still need to occur so that someone has the control to modify these mortgages. So we need broad, but targeted authority for a review board to modify mortgages whereby we see the potential for the family or individual to remain in the house and whereby there is an income stream that will at minimum support something near the original payment. In some cases this will mean that the interest rate must be lowered and in other cases, it might be that the term is extended. However, there will be very few cases where the principal actually has to be written down. The result will be securities that can be marked to market because we now know their true value. We know the following going forward:

• Principal that is supportable by the probable income stream of the borrower
• Interest rate that is supportable
• Term that is supportable
• Amount of subsidy required to stabilize the mortgage

Seemingly, this would eliminate the problem of the value of these mortgage-backed securities being drummed down to nothing when there are actual performing incomes behind them that have been verified and are projected to be consistent. The modification process will ensure this income and affordability. Banks, mortgage holders, investors and servicers will take the appropriate haircut, markets will stabilize, valuations will stabilize and financial statements can be trusted again. The credit market should liquefy within days of these actions.

We have a good example of how this type of mortgage modification could work. The Rural Development 502 program has mortgages over the years in which the interest rate is subsidized to increase affordability for rural homeownership. The subsidy is recouped at sale or at refinance. The wealth creation is not as preferable as non-subsidized mortgages, but this is a trade-off for affordability. In most cases today, the interest rate would not need large amounts of subsidy, but would need to be modified at the teaser rate or a rate that ensures affordability (no more than 32% of monthly income). An example would be an original payment of $1239 that morphs into $1791 at reset after a two year fixed rate mortgage becomes a 28 year variable rate mortgage. The original interest rate was 5%, and the amortization was 30 years. The reset rate is 9.5% and the term is 28 years. If this family can afford the $1239 for which they were originally underwritten (including taxes and insurance on a $175,000 mortgage), then their mortgage will be modified so that they stay at 5%. At this point the model can include shared equity appreciation to recoup the subsidy to the mortgage or preferably, the lender takes a haircut on principle, rate or term depending upon the situation of the borrower and modifies the loan to 5% fixed 30 year term.

There are two ways to do this. The first is a purchase of the mortgages by the review board which will also be the governing board of the MBS Finance Authority. This entity could be an ad hoc agency created by industry, Congress, Treasury and consumer groups. The Board could be gaveled together quickly-one week, and in its stead, the Treasury Secretary could begin to act, knowing that every transaction will be scrutinized and vetted by the Review Board. Because this authority owns the loans and/or the mortgage-backed securities, it will have the power to modify the loans that collateralize the securities and maintain solvency to the pools of mortgages. Return will be reduced, but default and loss will be minimized to only those individual mortgages with out a real income stream that can persist. Estimates are that this part of the market may be as high as 15% of the mortgages in question, but even at that draconian number; the broader markets are exceptionally salvageable. All, with homeowners coming first.

The second way is simply for all of the current mortgage holders, whomever they may be to agree to a rewrite of the master servicing agreements to allow the same type of modification. This would mean that the assets would not have to exchange hands, but would still force mark-to-market, real time liquidity and accurate financial statements as we try to rebuild the infrastructure of our financial services industry and keep homeowners in their homes paying their new mortgages, buying goods and services and maybe for the first time in a while saving a minimum of 5% of income. This recipe will not only stabilize markets, but in a few months begin to incent real savings and a reasonable cost of funds to support consumer lending in the country.

This would leave alone mortgage contracts that do not have to be modified and would give only a temporary authority to abridge these contracts. Investors would be assured that when the contagion had been isolated, treated and returned to society, there would be no chance of it spreading weakness to other assets. They also would not have to fear that future mortgage contracts would be similarly modified, if we set up adequate regulations and underwriting guidelines similar to what qualified housing counselors are utilizing and have been utilizing in most CRA loan situations since the early nineties.

How we determine what is eligible for purchase will determine the fairness and the viability of the restructuring. Fraud, investor abuse and borrower deceit will not qualify for either method chosen. These situations should take their losses and be reckoned with legally. However, in these situations where it is ascertained that the borrower / homeowner was not to blame, but was a victim of transaction-oriented fee-paid professionals, the loan should be modified and the perpetrators prosecuted.

There are many different ways to get to fairness and capacity. That is the key. We need both a fair system of rescue and the capacity to keep our economy running without the elimination of the democratizing of credit or the end of the American Dream. Preservation of the system behooves preservation of the underlying economic engines that are the American households and families who go to work every day, pay their mortgages and support our businesses, large and small. If we preserve these homes and their residents, we are preserving the economic engines. The banks, investors and servicers will have income streams that will feed their net operating income. They will have capacity to lend more as they recapitalize on healthier performing and valued portfolios. This scenario could lead to preservation of 75-85% of home value and 90% of lending capacity and tier one capital for banks over the next two-three years. We must stop the foreclosures because it is the right and correct thing to do.

Actions: Create a workforce development and support program for the new found poor and the working class up to $100,000 per household. These households can receive over $200,000 in career training funding. they can receive over a million dollars in small business loans based on their success in our SBE program.

Formalize the NE Ohio Alliance for Change Coalition as such in fact and raise a million dollars. This money is to be used to develop a prospectus and operations in Cleveland , both west and east side along with Brooklyn, Slavic Village, the Cleveland Empowerment Zone and Downtown, Shaker Heights, East Cleveland, Cleveland Heights and as regional stimulate in 22 counties of a secure IP5 dynamic broadband fiber and wireless solution.

We raise $300,000 by June 19th 2009 and $100,000 in March by selling 100 memberships in the NEO Alliance for Change Committee for Change in Brooklyn and or the Cleveland Empowerment Zone Task Force as part of the Cleveland Change Committee.

This money would bring organizations like NCRC and professionals to the table to create the stage for a request of government at levels to make change based on the MDi plans and that of partners in Change in 22 Counties in NE Ohio centered around Cuyahoga County and around the state of Ohio, as a national demonstration.

It will be built on a OneCommunity and Broadband Ohio infrastructure that takes advantage of public and private sector funding at all levels through engagement of Ivin M Henderson through MDi and with Cooperation of Gloria [Met the Blogger/Midtown Brews] and Ed[I-Open is a strategic partner, NOW]. We hire Gloria full time and my daughter, Kimberly Daniels, becomes our first office manager, she’s a rugby player and 360 gamer.

Commissioners back commuter rail in NEO

ELYRIA — A plan for a commuter rail system between Cleveland and Vermilion – and perhaps as far as Sandusky — keeps inching ahead.

A private group called the Northern Ohio Commuter Rail Coalition has raised half of the $70,000 in local matching money needed to access the $343,000 federal earmark designed for a study of the proposed commuter rail project.

Even in a down economy, dozens of small donors are contributing toward the local share, said Pat Petrigan, chair of a steering committee for the public-private partnership called West Shore Commuter Rail.

The county commissioners announced at Thursday’s meeting that they were partnering up with Petrigan’s group, which has support from businessmen Anthony and Bob Campana and from Vermilion Mayor Jean Anderson.

Anderson told commissioners that she can’t walk around Vermilion without people questioning her about when they’ll be able to hop on a commuter train. And Petrigan, citing rail systems in other countries, said he thought the line would spur economic development.

“We are so far behind the rest of the industrial world, it’s incredible,” Petrigan said.

County Commissioner Betty Blair expressed enthusiasm and said the project would be perfect for stimulus money.

“This was in the works before stimulus was even mentioned,” Blair said.

In Lorain County, Blair envisions stops in Vermilion, Lorain, Sheffield Lake or Sheffield, and Avon or Avon Lake. She said commuters could hop a train east to Cleveland for work or to attend a Browns game or a train west to Cedar Point.

If deemed feasible, the federal government would be asked to shell out the money for train cars, staffing and to set up stations. In Lorain, a station already has been built at Black River Landing, Blair said.

A 2000 study said it would cost about $100 million to start commuter rail between Cleveland and Lorain, said Ken Prendergast, executive director of All Aboard Ohio, who was not at Thursday’s meeting but was contacted afterward.

He said the $343,000 earmark through the Federal Transportation Administration and $70,000 in matching money would pay for the studies needed to finalize a route for the railway, which would largely follow the lightly-used Norfolk-Southern railroad.

After arriving at the West Boulevard Rapid Transit Station in Cleveland, it would either follow the railroad tracks to the lakefront or switch over to the Regional Transit Authority’s Red Line to Tower City, he said.

In addition to the route, the study would determine the best options for a train, such as use a diesel rail engine or an electric-powered train, Prendergast said.

Prendergast said 20,000 people daily ride light rail run by the RTA in Cleveland. Ridership increased 10 percent when gasoline surged to $4 a gallon, and RTA held onto the gains even when fuel costs dropped, he said.

It is expected that the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will be signed by the President on February 16, assuming we can get it passed. That legislation won't list the projects to be funded. Instead, it will appropriate money for federal grant programs, such as the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) or Surface Transportation Program, which will then use the appropriated stimulus money to make grants to cities.

In the case of CDBG, for example, the Department of Housing and Urban Development will be the agency that will decide (using a formula) which of the projects requested by the mayors will be funded. That said, the funding Congress approves for these programs, and thus how much money cities will actually receive for their projects, may exceed or fall short of the mayors' suggestions.

This means that not every project requested by the mayors will be funded. And that is why it's important for citizens to register their opinions on which projects they believe are critical and which are not.

This from Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr.'s web site, "The Civil War is central to who we are as a nation, and what we will become. This section is dedicated to the ongoing political, social and economic implications the war created for the CURRENT body politic. To understand those implications, we must have a clear view of the two issues that have been central to American history:

(1) the relationship between the federal government and the states, and

(2) race.

One way of describing the role race has played in American history is to use the metaphor of an earthquake. The issue of race produced "tremors" from 1619 to 1861, the 1861 to 1865 "Great Earthquake" we refer to as the Civil War and everything from 1865 to the present has been "aftershocks."

Prior to the Civil War, Americans expressed their interests primarily in four political parties.

The Civil War greatly reduced their options to two-the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. Democrats and Republicans emerged while debating the question of what to do with the newly-freed slaves.

The radical Republicans argued for greater federal investment in their education, healthcare and housing. This became the precursor of modern economic liberalism.

The conservative Democrats/slaveholders argued that the freed slaves must pick themselves up by their own bootstraps. This was the precursor to modern economic conservatism.

For 140 years all Americans have been traveling essentially this same road, while the two party roles have essentially switched.

(1) pledging allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all;

(2) going beyond mainstream corporate news media to seek out information about important political, economic, and social issues and publish it starting this Friday from our blog - Imani News;

(3) engaging fellow citizens, including those who disagree with us, in serious discussion and debate about those issues and create, in Cincinnati, a unified plan of action based on it being the center that drives the region;

(4) committing as much time, energy, and money as possible to continue building our grassroots political organizations that has and can pressure politicians, government officials and the interests behind them to put the interests of American people over worldwide profit and power, and;

(5) connecting these efforts to global political and social movements that support the American constitutional ideals and will support the expansion of American democracy and human rights while opposing those fighting to destroy the United States of America.

We will continue to resist control of the world that has led to wars that have killed millions of people and have potential to kill billions of people, resist needless military spending yet support defense of the American people that is embedded in new policy that puts people first, resist any roll-back of civil and human rights domestically and work to enforce human rights worldwide, along with supporting resistance to illegitimate authority in all its forms. We will commit to collective efforts in Greater Cincinnati and Southern Ohio to help build an alternative infrastructure in support of the American homeland while preparing for Global Climate Change.

We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things. What the cynics fail to understand is that the ground has shifted beneath them - that the stale political arguments that have consumed us for so long no longer apply. Nor is the question before us whether the market is a force for good or ill. Its power to generate wealth and expand freedom is unmatched, but this crisis has reminded us that without a watchful eye, the market can spin out of control - and that a nation cannot prosper long when it favors only the prosperous. The success of our economy has always depended not just on the size of our Gross Domestic Product, but on the reach of our prosperity; on our ability to extend opportunity to every willing heart - not out of charity, but because it is the surest route to our common good.

As for our common defense, we reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals. Our Founding Fathers, faced with perils we can scarcely imagine, drafted a charter to assure the rule of law and the rights of man, a charter expanded by the blood of generations. Those ideals still light the world, and we will not give them up for expedience’s sake. And so to all other peoples and governments who are watching today, from the grandest capitals to the small village where my father was born: know that America is a friend of each nation and every man, woman, and child who seeks a future of peace and dignity, and that we are ready to lead once more.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

We are the keepers of this legacy. Guided by these principles once more, we can meet those new threats that demand even greater effort - even greater cooperation and understanding between nations. We will begin to responsibly leave Iraq to its people, and forge a hard-earned peace in Afghanistan. With old friends and former foes, we will work tirelessly to lessen the nuclear threat, and roll back the specter of a warming planet. We will not apologize for our way of life, nor will we waver in its defense, and for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannot be broken; you cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you.

To the people of poor nations, we pledge to work alongside you to make your farms flourish and let clean waters flow; to nourish starved bodies and feed hungry minds. And to those nations like ours that enjoy relative plenty, we say we can no longer afford indifference to suffering outside our borders; nor can we consume the world’s resources without regard to effect. For the world has changed, and we must change with it.

Furthermore, we at Cincinnati Change believe that their must be a additional trillion dollar investment in the United States this year and at least 600 billion dollars must be invested in 6 million American families in trouble. We believe that through this our society can be maintained and improved.We have 20 demonstration cities picked out and Cincinnati is the headquarters where we and or our partners own the land.

We will host a review of a proposal this Friday for investing $130 million dollars over the next two months this Friday at the William Howard Taft National Historic Site in Mt. Auburn in Cincinnati starting at 9 AM where we will hold a week of review of a proposal for his investment over the next two months. there is over a half million dollars [$500,000] in the bank to do this planning and implementation, held by a contracted agency of the city of Cincinnati who has the federal contract that controls the $130M in non volume cap bonds.

As Congress considers a substantial stimulus package to get the economy moving, investing in new economy digital infrastructures will provide significant opportunities not just for short-term stimulus and job creation, but also longer term economic and social benefits. In the report, “The Digital Road to Recovery: A Stimulus Plan to Create Jobs, Boost Productivity and Revitalize America,” ITIF provides a detailed analysis and estimate of the short-term jobs impacts of spurring investment in three critical digital networks: broadband networks, the smart grid (making the electric distribution system intelligent) and health IT, and outlines policy steps to spur this investment.

ITIF finds that investments in America’s digital infrastructure will spur significant job creation in the short run. Specifically, ITIF estimates that spurring an additional investment of $30 billion in America’s IT network infrastructure in 2009 will create approximately 949,000 U.S. jobs.

Kevin J. Martin, chairman of the Federal Communications Commission. Martin will conduct a one-hour public information meeting at the Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency, 1740 Langdon Farm Road, in Jordan’s Crossing Shopping Center, Bond Hill.

Martin will conduct similar meetings this afternoon in Dayton and Columbus. The FCC has targeted the three cities because of their high percentages of homes not prepared to receive digital TV signals.

A December Nielsen report said Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky was No. 25 among all TV markets, with 6.6 percent homes not ready for digital TV. Dayton was No. 20 (7.4 percent), and Columbus was No. 39 (5.2 percent).

I am determined to bring about lasting change and with the current Chairman of McGraw Daniels, LLC [MDi] we are well positioned to accomplish this.

MDi's Chairman Lawrence Auls was the State of Ohio's first African American statewide computer systems integrator to carry Sun Microsystems and Oracle products and sell their services. This was during the period when FUD ran rampant and an African American owned business was not supposed to do what he was doing. This included a multipaged article in 1975 in Black Enterprise on one of his business ventures.

MDi is poised with this organization, OneCommunity and under his leadership and vision to develop the competitive advantage of the inner city.

Mr. Auls has over 45 years of community, business development, advocacy and negotiations at the ihborhood, municipal, state and national levels. He has said, "At this time in my life I am transferring the gained expertise of myself and others of my generation to the next generation(s) through our initiative of a "Virtual Faculty", and embedding it as means for future generations to do the same."

I've recently become aware that our [MDi's] Chairman and James Houghton the Chairman Emeritus of Corning, Inc. were Aspen fellows together at the then Aspen Institute for Humanistic Studies (now the Aspen Institute, in the early 70's.

Much of his work are expansions of solutions [including those at MDi] based around the phrase Anticipatory Democracy. The phrase was coined by Alvin Toffler in his book Future Shock, and was expanded on in the 1978 book "Anticipatory Democracy: People in the Politics of the Future", edited by Clement Bezold, Phd. Mr. Auls was a contributing author of a chapter in the book and I hope is writing a historical text of his first hand experience of those days.

Other contributors included former President Jimmy Carter and former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Newt Gringrich. In that book, he [Auls] expanded on the thoughts garnered from his personal experience at the first in the United States of America neighborhood planning session that was principally African Americans who where looking 25 years into its future.

While at Aspen and with work at Alvin Toffler's house, he refined his thoughts on early Anticipatory Democracy, which is a theory of civics relying on democratic decision making that takes into account predictions of future events that have credibility with the electorate.

The then Aspen Institute's curriculum has been instrumental in the course of his activity in community change and Anticipatory Democracy. This work is vital to his current research on community change and continues to be a factor in his current work on Anticipatory Democracy.

We are now nearly 40 years from that time and have a new President dedicated to change as is MDi. One of the unfortunate consequences is that over the years Mr. Auls has lost touch with his contemporaries of that day.

I have taken it upon myself to get him in touch with them, with a focus on Mr. Houghton. Although they traveled different paths, each has a legacy and is still building the future with ideals, products and services that serve a global marketplace. In Mr. Auls case, this includes creating a fiber to the home [hence Mr. Houghton of Corning, the fiber cable company] implementation plan of action for the state of Ohio on top of already installed networks as private public partnership to "Erase the Digital Divide in Ohio".

I am looking forward to bringing them all together in a discussion of our mission statement "Erase The Digital Divide" before the next President comes to office and the stimulus package is decided. We feel the times require a conversation on this plan for 2009 implementation.

We expect great things to occur as a result of the type contributions to society by historically enlightened and visionaries like Mr. Auls, Houghton with MDi's President and Chief Engineer Fred Hargrove, Sr. PE, MBA, OneCommuntiy's President Scot M. Rourke and Mark T. Ansboury Senior VP & Chief Technology Officer along with the group that will be in any conversation about "Erasing the Digital Divide" in the United States.

A commitment to the idea of American unity in these times

I have a commitment to the principle idea of togetherness or American unity in these times. This principle is a life foundation; for without unity, neither the family nor the community can survive. As an American of African decent my unity begins with the family. I am starting an open discussion of family problems and what I see as their probable solutions.

Overall I am dedicated to service the African American family. I cannot forget the transgressions of the past but perhaps I understand them better in the light of where we are at now, all together. So in my minds eye this family is made up of over 80 million Americans by their genetic code. I believe that I, through MDi and its partners such as OneCommunity and The NET Video, can set up a health service organization in unity with members for this family and supporters of a system that is setup to service those left behind with no health care.

I will set up the first of a series of bio safe labs that can provide support genetic and bio diagnostic testing of people. They will have an emphasis on the people of Africa in America. These are to be part of a full service life cycle health care complexes. These labs in these complexes will be attached to centers of learning and health care that will partner with provider enterprises and professionals to create health information management organizations based on established operations in Ohio.

From our headquarters in Cincinnati, by 2012 we look to have a database of at least 500 million people in our regional health information organizational partners secure data services. Here we have a plan of action for 100 million dollar direct investment in the Cincinnati Empowerment Zone and or designated Empowerment Zone development area in addition to a 30 million dollar investment in over 180 million dollars in commercial construction with a goal of using Empowerment Zone residents in 75% of the work.

In addition we will create a broadband wireless network that will cover 95% of the north American market by 2020 through licensed and unlicensed frequencies with a fiber backhaul to regional multi media production and distribution centers, the first of which are in Ohio. We expect to have 20 million accounts by 2012. These are from those households aligned with my family through a digital social network infrastructure that connects to a secure new build public private joint venture built around meeting FCC requirements and the marketplace. It will be built on the ideals contained in my 2008 demonstration cities [Cincinnati, Akron and Cleveland] .

In Cincinnati we, MDi, will partner with Cincinnati Change through direct agreements and or Global Change Communications and Computing Company, Inc. [GC4] in the proposed joint operating vehicle. Cincinnati Change will hold 9% equity granted by the founders for the residents and employers in the 9 communities of the Cincinnati Empowerment Zone. We will bring together a digital round table with over 300 stakeholders by January 17th 2008 through the Cincinnati Change website that is to be relaunched on January 6th 2009.

In Akron I, through MDi, will propose to partner with the Knight Center in the creation of Akron Change. Akron Change will erase the digital divide in Akron with the Coalition of Black Trades unionists and a team. Akron Change is created to issue a Community Reinvestment Act compliant investment grade financial instrument as part of statewide plan to pump over 60 million dollars into the Akron economy in 2009.

This initiative lead by Akron Change will redevelop 6,000 homes with broadband wireless network access points that create a broadband wireless grid in Summit County. Akron Change will also remodel the assets [6,000 homes] for the next 30 years using HUD and other federal, state and local housing programs. We will bring together a 1,000 people by January 19th 2009 through the creation of a web site called Akron Change on 1 January 2009.

In Cleveland we will partner with Wilson Military Academy to develop a solution that meets the needs of stakeholders including the regions African American community, the state of Ohio, the city of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County.

Another legend is dead, Eartha Kitt RIP

Eartha Kitt, a sultry singer, dancer and actress who rose from South Carolina cotton fields to become an international symbol of elegance and sensuality, has died, a family spokesman said. She was 81.

Kitt, a self-proclaimed "sex kitten" famous for her catlike purr, was one of America's most versatile performers, winning two Emmys and nabbing a third nomination. She also was nominated for several Tonys and two Grammys.

Her career spanned six decades, from her start as a dancer with the famed Katherine Dunham troupe to cabarets and acting and singing on stage, in movies and on television. She persevered through an unhappy childhood as a mixed-race daughter of the South and made headlines in the 1960s for denouncing the Vietnam War during a visit to the White House.

Through the years, Kitt remained a picture of vitality and attracted fans less than half her age even as she neared 80.

When her book "Rejuvenate," a guide to staying physically fit, was published in 2001, Kitt was featured on the cover in a long, curve-hugging black dress with a figure that some 20-year-old women would envy. Kitt also wrote three autobiographies.

Once dubbed the "most exciting woman in the world" by Orson Welles, she spent much of her life single, though brief romances with the rich and famous peppered her younger years.

After becoming a hit singing "Monotonous" in the Broadway revue "New Faces of 1952," Kitt appeared in "Mrs. Patterson" in 1954-55. (Some references say she earned a Tony nomination for "Mrs. Patterson," but only winners were publicly announced at that time.) She also made appearances in "Shinbone Alley" and "The Owl and the Pussycat."

Her first album, "RCA Victor Presents Eartha Kitt," came out in 1954, featuring such songs as "I Want to Be Evil," "C'est Si Bon" and the saucy gold digger's theme song "Santa Baby," which is revived on radio each Christmas.
The next year, the record company released the follow-up album "That Bad Eartha," which featured "Let's Do It," "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" and "My Heart Belongs to Daddy."

In 1996, she was nominated for a Grammy in the category of traditional pop vocal performance for her album "Back in Business." She also had been nominated in the children's recording category for the 1969 record "Folk Tales of the Tribes of Africa."

Kitt also acted in movies, playing the lead female role opposite Nat King Cole in "St. Louis Blues" in 1958 and more recently appearing in "Boomerang" and "Harriet the Spy" in the 1990s.

On television, she was the sexy Catwoman on the popular "Batman" series in 1967-68, replacing Julie Newmar who originated the role. A guest appearance on an episode of "I Spy" brought Kitt an Emmy nomination in 1966.
Kitt was plainspoken about causes she believed in. Her anti-war comments at the White House came as she attended a White House luncheon hosted by Lady Bird Johnson.

"You send the best of this country off to be shot and maimed," she told the group of about 50 women. "They rebel in the street. They don't want to go to school because they're going to be snatched off from their mothers to be shot in Vietnam."

For four years afterward, Kitt performed almost exclusively overseas. She was investigated by the FBI and CIA, which allegedly found her to be foul-mouthed and promiscuous.

In 1978, Kitt returned to Broadway in the musical "Timbuktu!" — which brought her a Tony nomination — and was invited back to the White House by President Jimmy Carter.

As recently as October 2003, she was on Broadway after replacing Chita Rivera in a revival of "Nine."

But she also said: "I don't carry myself as a black person but as a woman that belongs to everybody. After all, it's the general public that made (me) — not any one particular group. So I don't think of myself as belonging to any particular group and never have."

Kitt was born in North, S.C., and her road to fame was the stuff of storybooks. In her autobiography, she wrote that her mother was black and Cherokee while her father was white, and she was left to live with relatives after her mother's new husband objected to taking in a mixed-race girl.

An aunt eventually brought her to live in New York, where she attended the High School of Performing Arts, later dropping out to take various odd jobs.

By chance, she dropped by an audition for the dance group run by Dunham, a pioneering African-American dancer. In 1946, Kitt was one of the Sans-Souci Singers in Dunham's Broadway production "Bal Negre."

Kitt's travels with the Dunham troupe landed her a gig in a Paris nightclub in the early 1950s. Kitt was spotted by Welles, who cast her in his Paris stage production of "Faust."

That led to a role in "New Faces of 1952," which featured such other stars-to-be as Carol Lawrence, Paul Lynde and, as a writer, Mel Brooks.

While traveling the world as a dancer and singer in the 1950s, Kitt learned to perform in nearly a dozen languages and, over time, added songs in French, Spanish and even Turkish to her repertoire.

"Usku Dara," a song Kitt said was taught to her by the wife of a Turkish admiral, was one of her first hits, though Kitt says her record company feared it too remote for American audiences to appreciate.

Song titles such as "I Want to be Evil" and "Just an Old Fashioned Girl" seem to reflect the paradoxes in Kitt's private life.

Over the years, Kitt had liaisons with wealthy men, including Revlon founder Charles Revson, who showered her with lavish gifts.

In 1960, she married Bill McDonald but divorced him after the birth of their daughter, Kitt.

While on stage, she was daringly sexy and always flirtatious. Offstage, however, Kitt described herself as shy and almost reclusive, remnants of feeling unwanted and unloved as a child. She referred to herself as "that little urchin cotton-picker from the South, Eartha Mae."

For years, Kitt was unsure of her birthplace or birth date. In 1997, a group of students at historically black Benedict College in Columbia, S.C., located her birth certificate, which verified her birth date as Jan. 17, 1927. Kitt had previously celebrated on Jan. 26.

The research into her background also showed Kitt was the daughter of a white man, a poor cotton farmer.

Adoption of the principles behind the charter for MDi Global Change

It is a simple mistake for one to make who isn't aware of the true teachings of Kwanzaa, to assume that it's about African culture. Kwanzaa is clearly an American-made holiday with man-made principles and rituals. In no African culture will anyone ever have found the Nguzo Saba practiced by any African people before the creation of Kwanzaa. We interpret the Nguzo Saba which is a set of ideals created by Dr. Maulana Karenga in 1966 to the purposes needed to met the new day in America when on January 20th 2009 President Elect Barrack Obama becomes the 44th president of the United States of America.

We, at MDi which I help startup, subscribe to this as a spiritual guide, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus" [Galatians 3:28] and that we work to implement the American though "We the people, in order to form a more perfect union."

That Union is based on the Constitution of the United States of America that has at its very core the ideal of equal citizenship under the law; a Constitution that promises its people liberty, and justice, and a union that could be and should be perfected over time in support for the pursuit of happiness.

We believe our time is now to outline fundamental changes for the next 40 years and we will over the next seven days adopt the principles behind the Nguzo Saba into a charter for Global Change.

While the Nguzo Saba are commonly linked to the yearly Kawanzaa celebration, they have year-round applicability that when embedded with the social principles contained in the Cincinnati Change charter create a force for collaborative change. We are sharing these principles in the hopes that we can refer to them often over the coming week leading to our annual Washington meeting on March 11th through the 14th..

UMOJA (00-MOE-JAH) UNITY - The first principle is a commitment to the idea of togetherness. This principle is a foundation; for without unity, neither the family nor the community can survive. National African American unity begins with the family. Open discussions of family problems and their probable solutions are very important.

The African American family is made up of over 80 million Americans by genetics. We will create a broadband wireless network that will cover 95% of this market by 2010 through licensed and unlicensed frequencies with a fiber backhaul.

KUJICHAGULIA (CO-GEE-CHA-GOO-LEE-AH) SELF-DETERMINATION - The second principle is a commitment to building our lives in our own images and interests. If we, as a people, are to achieve our goals we must take the responsibility for that achievement upon ourselves, for self-determination is the essence of freedom. This day calls for a reaffirmation of our commitment to struggle for all people of African descent, particularly those of us here in America, to build a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Globally we have a market of over a billion people of African descent throughout the worlds 6.6 billion people. This will grow to over 2 billion people by 2020. The Americans of African descent in the United States will through MDi subsidiary in formation Global Change will take the responsibility for building our lives and that of our fellow humans to build a more meaningful and fulfilling life that meets the needs of our times.

We will create a digital world in which Afrocentricity is implemented as a visual representation of the thought and practice as we wish the world is, but which is rooted in the cultural image and human interests of African people.

UJIMA (00-GEE-MA) COLLECTIVE WORK AND RESPONSIBILITY - The third principle encourages self-criticism and personal evaluation, as it relates to the common good of the family/community. Without collective work and struggle, progress is impossible. The family and the community must accept the reality that we are collectively responsible for our failures, as well as our victories and achievements. Discussions concerning each family member's responsibility prove helpful in defining and achieving family goals.

We will create a open process that adheres to the rules of law. First and foremost that law as expressed in the Constitution of the United States of America, the rulings of the Supreme Court of the United States, the laws as signed by the President of the United States and the Federal Regulations along with any treaties, agreements and international rulings that implement those treaties and agreements.

Our process will be open and inclusive yet secure from the ground up with the responsibility of protection of the people’s collective work. We will invoke 360 degree digital review augmented through the reality that we are collectively responsible for our failures, as well as our victories and achievements.

We are asking our government for 3.48 billion dollars for 30 years so as to change the lives of over 300,000 Ohioans, with a focus on 60,000 African Americans who have lost and or are losing their home in Ohio.

UJAMAA (00-JAH-MAH) COOPERATIVE ECONOMICS - Out of the fundamental concepts of "African Communal Living" comes the fourth principle of Kwanzaa. In a community or family, wealth and resources should be shared. On the national level, cooperative economics can help African Americans take physical control of their own destinies. Each family member should examine his/her ability to put his/her skill or talent to use In the service of the family and community at large. Take time to reflect on your expectations from life: discuss your desires and hopes with family and friends. On this day you should try to determine if this purpose will eventually result in positive achievements for family and community.

Through the creation of a new portal called my life we will create a digital world for all 80 million people related to peoples of African decent by 2010 and for a billion people by 2012. KUUMBA (KOO-M-BAH) CREATIVITY - The sixth principle of the Nguzo Saba relates to building and developing our creative potential. It involves both aesthetic and material creations. It is essential that creativity be encouraged in all aspects of African American culture. It is through new ideas that we achieve higher levels of living and a greater appreciation for life. Each family member should find creative things to do throughout the year that will enhance the family as a whole. On this day, poetry reading, songfests, dance exhibitions and the like, can aid in promoting the importance of Kuumba.

The sixth principle of the Nguzo Saba will be implemented as we rebuild the lives of Ohioans who have had bankruptcies, foreclosures and or bad housing and or business loans through developing their creative potential by investing in them. We will involve both aesthetic [as a licensed Independent Social Worker and partner with a faith based coalition Churches Can Change NOW] and material [we will work through a Community Reinvestment Agreement that includes small business loans and individual investment accounts that support small offices home offices micro business] creations.

We will create a creative [aesthetic] class who will create poetry, songs, musics, dance and the like. Under the sixth principle we will implement a program of promoting the importance of Kuumba in rebuilding our communities. We will support family members in finding creative things to do throughout the year that will enhance the family as a whole.

IMANI (E-MAH-NE) FAITH - The seventh principle is belief in ourselves as individuals and as a people. Further, it is a commitment to the development of the family and the national African American community. African America's goal of freedom rests significantly on our belief in our own ability and right to control our own destiny. Without Imani (faith), there is no possibility of victory.

We have a President who has assembled a team for change that proposed a commitment to the development of the family and the national American community. We will concentrate on those African American Ohioans in need and who through our efforts shall not be left behind.

Karen G. Mills, the Obama nominated Director of the Small Business Administration, has been a principal in the private equity and venture capital industry since 1983 and has taken a leadership role in the growth of more than 20 companies in the consumer products, food, distribution, textile and industrial component sectors.

Mills was a co-founder and managing director of Solera Capital and Chief Operating Officer of E.S. Jacobs and Company. Mills chairs Governor Baldacci’s Council on Competitiveness and the Economy and is deeply engaged in economic policy for the state of Maine.

In 2006, she led the initiative for a $50 million competitive research and development bond which passed the legislature with strong bipartisan support, and was approved by public referendum. She also sits on the Governor’s Council for the Redevelopment of the Brunswick Naval Air Station, which recently went on the BRAC closure list, and serves on the boards of the Maine Technology Institute and the Maine chapter of the Nature Conservancy. Mills authored a Brookings paper on economic development clusters, and those recommendations were introduced as legislation by Senators Collins and Clinton in June 2008.

She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and has been Vice Chairman of the Harvard Overseers. Mills has an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University (1975), and an MBA from Harvard Business School where she was a Baker Scholar.

Her background includes consulting in the U.S. and Europe for McKinsey and Co. and product management for General Foods. Ms. Mills is the lead director of Scotts Miracle-Gro and a director of Arrow Electronics, a $15 billion semiconductor distributor.

Weiji, is probably best translated as "dangerous moment", a pretty good definition of "crisis". OUR COUNTRY IS A CRISIS AND WE THINK WE HAVE SOLUTIONS.

Cincinnati Change shall under the leadership of our consultant team take the essence of crisis management from the Chinese word Crisis. It is born of their age old wisdom came to recognize that even at the level that the idea that a crisis is nothing more than a difficult, precarious opening, a chance to take a risk.

So we are going to take a risk an be on the national mall and stay about a hour away from DC. Its by bus and includes transportation to on Jan 19th and from on January 20th that night for $500. If you want a hotel room that costs 250 a night. We will be in DC for three nights the 19th, the 20th and the 21st. On the 21st we will be meeting with DC Change at NCRC HQ.

In Cincinnati, we will raise funds to create the vehicle to buy 20,000 troubled and/or foreclosed mortgages in Southern Ohio as part of our solution to erase the Development Divide. This will be done in conjunction with property owned by investors who are willing to work with Cincinnati Change and its partners, negotiating the restructuring existing debt will have the option of exercising subscription rights to new debt.

We plan to issue new debt instruments that will be used to put people to work. We will use our open Web 2.0 study of the current tax code to maximize a program that puts people to work in Southern Ohio. We will concentrate principally in infrastructure with a focus on MSD [through 2029], health care, education, technology, energy and reconstruction in Southern Ohio through tax increment financing and other revisions to the tax code through Open Source Solutions to Erasing the Development Divide and American financial crisis.

Cincinnati Change will appeal to all levels of government and use in its application US government programs that can be executed by the public/private alliance Cincinnati Change is assembling.

To implement this, our attorneys will be required to develop, under OMB A-76 Authority, an order that will support export growth based on a 4 year plan to service people around the world starting with the Cincinnati Empowerment Zone with its 50,000 residents and 68,000 employees working for over 3,000 employers.

Our offerings will be centered around digital services in support of economic development, career support, social [L.I.S.W.] services, human [The NET Video] and health care [OneCommunity] that supports a super set of International Standards Organization [ISO] 26000.

This Cincinnati Change Chairwoman, Wanda J Lloyd Daniels, will work with Unions while the AEC/GM team will be led by Fred Hargrove Sr. PE, MBA [who is also a licensed master plumber] and the contracted HUD and Tax Code programs will be directed Dr. Robert Day.

Breakfast at McDonald's

I am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, 3) and have recently completed my college degree.

The last class I had to take was Sociology.

The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish every human being had been graced with.

Her last project of the term was called, 'Smile.'

The class was asked to go out and smile at three people and document their reactions.

I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone and say hello anyway. So, I thought this would be a piece of cake,

Literally.

Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and I went out to McDonald's one crisp March morning.

It was just our way of sharing special playtime with our son.

We were standing in line, waiting to be served, when all of a sudden everyone around us began to back away, and then even my husband did.

I did not move an inch...an overwhelming feeling of panic welled up inside of me as I turned to see why they had moved.

As I turned around I smelled a horrible 'dirty body' smell, and there standing behind me were two poor homeless men.

As I looked down at the short gentleman, close to me, he was 'smiling'

His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched for acceptance.

He said, 'Good day' as he counted the few coins he had been clutching.

The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend. I realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue-eyed gentleman was his salvation.

I held my tears as I stood there with them.

The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted.

He said, 'Coffee is all Miss' because that was all they could afford. (If they wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy something. He just wanted to be warm).

Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and embraced the little man with the blue eyes.

That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging my every action.

I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two more breakfast meals on a separate tray.

I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as a resting spot. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the blue-eyed gentleman's cold hand.

He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, 'Thank you.'

I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, 'I did not do this for you. God is here working through me to give you hope.'

I started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son. When I sat down my husband smiled at me and said, 'That is why God gave you to me, Honey, to give me hope..'

We held hands for a moment and at that time, we knew that only because of the Grace that we had been given were we able to give.

We are not church goers, but we are believers.

That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet love.

I returned to college, on the last evening of class, with this story in hand.

I turned in 'my project' and the instructor read it.

Then she looked up at me and said, 'Can I share this?'

I slowly nodded as she got the attention of the class.

She began to read and that is when I knew that we as human beings and being part of God share this need to heal people and to be healed.

In my own way I had touched the people at McDonald's, my son, the instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on the last night I spent as a college student.

I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn:

UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.

Much love and compassion is sent to each and every person who may read this and learn how to

LOVE PEOPLE AND USE THINGS -

NOT LOVE THINGS AND USE PEOPLE.

There is an Angel sent to watch over you.

From a email from a friend PV: PO2 (EOD2)(Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Mike Monsoor, a Navy EOD Technician, was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor posthumously for jumping on a grenade in Iraq , giving his life to save his fellow Seals.

During Mike Monsoor's funeral in San Diego, as his coffin was being moved from the hearse to the grave site at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery, SEALs were lined up on both sides of the pallbearers route forming a column of twos, with the coffin moving up the center. As Mike's coffin passed, each SEAL, having removed his gold Trident from his uniform, slapped it down embedding the Trident in the wooden coffin.

The slaps were audible from across the cemetery; by the time the coffin arrived grave side, it looked as though it had a gold inlay from all the Tridents pinned to it. This was a fitting send-off for a warrior hero.
