The school district not only decided to get rid of the school's principal and teachers, but it's also doing away with the school's curriculum. That releasing its entire staff allowed them to work elsewhere in the district.
Then Cincinnati Public Schools Superintendent, Rosa Blackwell, said the district had no other choice, but to revamp the school in order to comply with the "No Child Left Behind Act."

STEM stands for "science, technology, engineering and mathematics," which are the focus subjects of the new school. It's designed to give the pre-kindergarten through 8th grade students a head start in the 21st century job market.
